Spice Media managed press-support for “Sprint on the Palace Square 2016”
On the 10th of July, in the heart of Saint-Petersburg, was the thirteenth traditional roller skating race.
The competition featured Olympic champions Evgeni Dementyev, Alexander Legkov and Nikita Kryukov, Olympic silver medalist Alexander Panzhinsky, World champion and bronze medalist at Vancouver Games Alexey Petukhov and other well-known sportsmen. For the first time “Sprint on the Palace Square” featured Olympic Champions in biathlon Anton Shipulin and Alexey Volkov.
The outcome of the race was a surprise to everyone. Alexander Legkov broke his crabstick and skipped out of the race, Anton Shipulin finished eighth, and the first place was taken by 24-year-old racer from the Perm region Gleb Retivykh. The second place was taken by Alexey Petukhov and the third place was taken by Nikita Kryukov
